How Renewables and Fossil Fuels Power Electricity

• On March 17, 65.4% of electricity in AUS came from fossil fuels and 34.6% from renewables.
• So far this month, 56.7% has come from fossil fuels and 43.3% from renewables – a change of 2.9 percentage points from the same month last year.
• If nothing changes, fossil fuels will account for 44.3% and renewables 55.7% by 2030.
